It seems that as paths open and close in my life, I witness the struggels of individuals and families that are related to their socioeconomic status and lifestyles. I have realized that I am very sensitive to these and other struggles that individuals and families face but more importantly I have come to understand that as much as I want to help, there are many factors that contribute to their struggles that are out of my direct control. Yet, it is becasue of this sensitivity that I want to focus on being some type of direct or influential aid to those individuals and families.
